Spectacular but pricy. Attentive waitstaff, beautiful interior, good noise level (one of our party has a hearing aid). Prime rib night was enjoyed by several of our party and the au gratin potatoes were remarkable as a side dish. The house salad has a memorable vinaigrette and croutons. Loved the triple seafood (not correct name) with scallops, shrimp, and a monster crab cake– well cooked with generous crab and no shells, wonderful Parmesan crusting. Delish.
Overcooked and overpriced.. Dinner last week was not worth the $500 (3 people). I asked for Hondo’s to respond via their website to my concerns but they did not respond so customer service is not good. We do not like to eat at places where we have to complain. We will never return!!
Ok but not as much hype as deserved.. I ordered the prime rib sandwich it was mostly all bread. The blue cheese salad was good. I liked the loaded potato soup but I thought the corn n peppers were out of place. My husband had the Hondo burger but the meat tasted off he gave me a bite and I agreed. I would go back for the soup and salad.
