Good food with ok service. If they claim themselves fine dine then it needs improvementWhile roaming short pump mall, we came through this rest. Searched on google and decided to go. It was lunch time so they gave us a lunch menu. Seems it was not much different than dinner menu except portion is very less.We ordered Pav bhaji samosa, lamb galauti kabab, dal tadka, chicken tikka kali mirch and chicken curry.Samosa was good, lamb kabab was really good. Sumptuous ..In entre, chicken tikka kali Mirch was okay but it doesnt have gravy at all. The server should have told us this. Dal tadka was okay, if they made basic thing wrong then there is a question. In lunch, they serve unlimited naan with entre so it was quite cheap. All you have to pay for entre. The ambience was okay, not great if you claim yourselves as fine dining. The server was good but seems no one interested serving lunch. Try once…!!
This is undoubtedly one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in and around Richmond, VA.The food and service is awesome.I have been to this place a bunch of times and have loved everything that I have tried here.I have had Gobhi Manchurian, Malvani Paneer, Paneer Makhani, Kofta Chaman Dilkhush, Dal Tadka. Every dish was very tasty. My friends have tried bunch of meat dishes as well and they were good too.The bhel is great too. They have 2-3 different types of menus, Lunch, Dinner, weekend brunch etc. The best part of their service is that they will serve you an entree even if it is not available in their menu. The portion size is small and the food is lil expensive, however, the taste and service is great. All in all, I love this place and will definitely be coming back many more times.
Very Good but a bit Pricey. I asked a Hindu colleague what he thought was the best of the 3 local Indian places in the West End. Before I finished the question, this place was the quick answer. My wife had a nice vegetarian and I had a unique curry, that was far better than your typical UK take-away joint. We will go back for sure,
Vegan, plant-based, or HERBIVORE? Ask for the Goen vegetable curry (not on the menu) because its wonderful! Classy ambiance but casual attire fine, eclectic decor, friendly and helpful staff, and great overall experience!
Succulent, tender , juicy , spicy — all the goodness !!Amazing !!
The best Indian food ever! Staff/service great also! Clean, very nice quiet atmosphere!
Who knew short pump would have great Indian food. Surrounded by your usual chain food this is a standout.
