As a respite from a sudden rainstorm, we ran into the freezing depths of the Silver Diner. A throwback to an era Ive only seen in Back to the Future I, red neon lights reflected off the many chrome surfaces. Our polite, nice server presented us then with a menu in such conflict to the decor that we had to check our glasses. Silver Diner stands out as Richmonds only restaurant to boast Back to the Future in the streets, Jetsons in the sheets.
LETS START WITH SAYING THE WORST AND I MEAN THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM A MANAGER EVER I MAKE A COMPLAINT AND WAS TOLD THE POLICE WOULD BE CALLED BECAUSE I CURSED LOL ALSO THE COMPLAINT WAS BECAUSE THE MANAGER PUT HER HANDS IN MY FOOD 3 TIMES AND I WAS NOT HAVING IT THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AND TO TOP IT OFF I GET SOME CORPORATE MANAGER WHO STATES I SHOULD NOT EAT THERE LIKE I WOULD EVER SPEND MY MONEY IN THAT PLACE BOTTOM LINE GO EAT UP THE BLOCK AT METRO DINER WHERE THEY RESPECT THERE CUSTOMERS AND THE FOOD IS A MILLION TIMES BETTER STAY CLEAR OR MARIA THE MANAGER WHO THREATENS POLICE IF YOU COMPLAIN
I got the spare ribs burger, York peppermint milkshake and fries. It was all excellent. Has a great 50s vibe with working jukeboxes. Lots of fun for my son and I and excellent food. While the burgers were great they also have a lot of other things in the menu that would surprise you.
