The food was bad, the naan that I had was good enough to be cardboard. The chicken was dry and bland. The good was butter chicken. The restaurant was really dirty and unclean. There was food outside of the buffet cart and all over the ground. The cleaning cart had food all around of it. The people are not friendly. The atmosphere is really bad. We wanted to sit in a different place but they said it was reserved. There were only 4 tables that were booked. The place is cramped. I wouldn’t go there ever.

Don’t waste your time and money here….. In brief:Food: Mediocre at best (not worth spending $15 for Sat lunch buffet)Service: Abysmal (specifically a server who goes by the name ROBIN- very rude, unprofessional, and a bad cook!- he cooks and serves at the live counter)Baby friendly: No -while they have a few very dirty high chairs stacked up in a dingy corner, they are missing harnesses, are filthy, and no body in the staff will help bring you one even if they see you struggle balancing a baby on your hip while pulling one to your table or while cleaning it with multiple disinfectant wipes!!The long version:Any parent with a child that is teething and going through sleep regression at the same time knows the situation we are in (we havent slept beyond a couple of hours a night all week). So, when we decided to go to this restaurant all we were looking for was decent food served with a smile. Apparently too much to ask for at this place! First, we were there at 12:10pm, the sing on the window said OPEN but the doors were still locked. There were servers hovering around the door inside but no one came to open the door nor acknowledge us! We turned around got our baby back in the car seat and were getting ready to leave when we saw someone sheepishly unlock the door and disappear. We were tired and hungry so we got everything together again (baby, a million bags associated with babies, our jackets- it was cold) and went in. Shouldn’t have, but we did.Next, we go to the buffet counter and there are no spoons or napkins. Clearly they are not ready for business- on a weekend; for lunch buffet; at noon! My husband asked ROBIN (the rude, unprofessional server) for silverware and got a curt response (mostly mumbling)- we let it go. And, that is were I think we pissed off this guy. Because thereafter he was simply the rudest server we ever experienced. When I asked him what kind of juices were available, he asked me to go read the labels. Once again I let it go. When we ordered our first dish off the live counter we were told it will be ready in 10mins. When it finally arrived at our table it was over 30mins late and tasted awful. Again, we let it go. Then we ordered another dish off the live counter. This time we waited 30 more mins and finally gave up and got dessert only to see ROBIN go to other tables and take orders and serve up dishes almost immediately. Now, that made me upset. So I asked him why? And first he said Oh, did you order something. Then he went on to suggest that maybe we forgot to pick it up at the counter!?! But he was just serving others at their tables, and the first dish we ordered came to us (we didnt have to pick it up?!). Now he starts rolling his eyes and being sarcastic! So I tell him he is being rude. To which his response is Excuse me, what did you say I am being So I repeat myself and he starts mumbling something again and walks away!! He never apologized for what he did. And worse, we never got the food we ordered. So finally, we asked to speak with the manager. Apparently the manager doesnt visit the premises in the mornings. It looks like this place runs without any leadership or management during the day. It might be time to change that.Anyway, there are way too many good Indian restaurants in the DC area (in Herndon/Reston specifically) to waste your time and money here.

I’m not very wordy so excuse me for simply saying I love this place. For atmosphere, staff and food quality it’s the only place for me! Did I mention I love it ?

Was to be good, but no more. I will not go to this place unless i don’t have any other option.

Great lunch deal. The lunch buffet at Angeethi has to be the best in town for anyone with a taste for Indian food. For $11 it is all you can eat and the food is varied and can be as healthful as you choose. They have a variety of meat and vegetarian dishes and they are very helpful if you are unclear of the exact composition of an item. Perhaps a little uninspired or middle of the road, but tasty none the less.

First of all, I have to say, the food was quite good. Unfortunately, the service was terrible which ruined to whole experience. We went as soon as it opened because we brought our young children with us and my husband stood next to our table with our toddler for several minutes while we waited for a high chair. The high chair was broken (they all were it turns out.) Our appetizer came out right away, which was great, but the food took forever. Once our food came out, our waiter never came by again (despite standing about 10 feet from our table) and I had to flag down two different servers to have our leftovers packed up and to get our check. Very disappointing.
