Much better than the Ballston location.. Atmosphere here is much more my speed than the Arlington location. Fewer hipsters and less pretentiousness all around. Of course, if you take people who like the one in Arlington to this one be prepared to listen to what a hole Herndon is. Then again, you really shouldn’t be hanging out with people who like the Arlington Carpool, should you?50ish beers on tap and lots of flat screens above the bar, ample pool tables and shuffleboard (my only gripe is the shuffleboard is priced the same as pool). Sweet overhead door setup that opens up the space in warm weather and joins it with the large patio. Good Happy Hour specials.I can’t really comment on entrees as I’ve never eaten them there, but the appetizers are about what you’d expect from most bars. Obviously, I don’t go for the food; I go for the beer selection and the atmosphere.
