Awesome Kabob Place. Tops the category. One of my favorite places.

Amazing place to go for kabobs/Afghan food. I have been going to Charcoal Kabob for years now, and can say it is one of the best places to go in Herndon. The atmosphere is very relaxed and they give you plenty food for what you pay. I have never had a complaint about my order. They have delicious curry, kabobs, and I highly recommend the chicken butter masala. Friendly and attentive staff as well.

The gold standard. All boneless chicken kabob platters I order, I inevitably compare to Charcoal Kabob. A few have come close–for example, try Ravi Kabob in Arlington if you like Charcoal Kabob–but most fall well short.

Great kabobs! Love the Kashmire tea as well!

We walked in minutes before they closed and the owner offered to make us ‘to go’ dinners. The food was great and we were both stuffed. We both had chicken & lamb kabob with lentils and chickpeas mmmm grab a water though, it has some great spice.

Hands Down Best Kababs Evar. Herndon’s Charcoal Kabob is an Afghani kabob house that boasts a wide selection of both meatarian and vegetarian options. Their chickpea side dish is my favorite. You cannot go wrong here.

Went with my husband and 2 teenage sons. Portions are very large and no one went away hungry – a rarity in my family! Chicken curry was some of the best I’ve had. Lamb kabobs and chick peas were great too.
