Great and Local Owned!. I’m gonna start like I tend to with places like this, THIS IS A LOCAL OWNED RESTAURANT!!!! Not a franchise or big company eatery. My wife and I went here for a book signing for The Mike O’Meara Show and while there was another event for something else, it was packed and it STILL was a great experience! Our server kept on top of our drinks and food as I mentioned despite the restaurant being swamped with diners. We shared the mozzarella sticks appetizer, four in an order.I had the Surf & Turf, steak and shrimp with a baked potato, veggie (this night asparagus which was cooked perfectly and very tender) and choice of soup or salad. I picked the soup which was broccoli and cheese which for me was a little spicy but I am sensitive to peppers and but I asked for extra crackers and because it tasted so nice I ate it all.My wife had the hot open faced roast beef sandwich with mashed potato and gravy and asparagus. For desert we shared Brownie Sundae which should be called the Mountain Brownie Sundae with the monstrous portion you get for five dollars. The food was great and the staff made sure we were happy. With my wife being in a wheelchair and myself needing a cane I give the disables perspective of dining. Straight up there is no ramp or anything so if you must have a ramp they will try to make sure you enjoy your experience. I managed to get my wife into the main level by leaning her chair back and lifting through leverage over the step. But we found out the TMOS event was down a steep flight of steps. They helped us back out, took us around the building to the lower entrance and luckily my wife was not completely wheelchair bound, she with my full help got up the two steps and they brought in her wheelchair. When we were ready to leave they made sure we got to our car safely. they really cared.A recap, the food was good, generous of the prices, the atmosphere was very welcoming as with the staff AND owner we so friendly they treated everyone like family.Go here and you will be happy, if something goes wrong let them know first and not complain online unless they do nothing about it.
Really liked Jimmy’s. What I loved about this place is that fact that when I lived in the greater metro area, it was one of the only places you could go for a fish fry. Also they were always great to the kids in the restaurant part of the place. Brought them coloring books, etcAlways enjoyed the food.Would highly recommend.
Thanks for Hosting!. We were at Jimmys for the Mike OMeara 2013 Ride for the Warriors. Everyone was working hard to keep pumping out the FRESH HOT food for all of the hungry bikers. This was our first time at Jimmys, but it wont be out last. Thanks for the extra effort to get me a veggie burger thats a no joke garden burger spicy! My meat-etarian man said it was the best garden burger that he has tasted…and Ive made him taste many a veggie burger.
Bad food. Seriously, how do you mess up chicken wings?! And our server all but ignored us. We had to ask for utensils and got an attitude when I got my food asked for horseradish sauce on the side (which the menu said came with the sandwich). I’m not often blown away by how bad a place is.
Flat, skunky beer. Food was cheap, but very subpar.
Very good…. In town on buisness and was taken here, the food was Very good, the service was TOP notch, Can’t wait to go back 🙂
Love it!!!!. We have so much fun at this neighborhood bar. Very laid back bar with a hometown feeling. Food is great and the Bills/Sabres games are just as fun as actually being at the games. We would go every weekend if we could!
