Nice retro-mod restaurant. We arrived after the lunch rush which is typically the worst time for a restaurant. We were greeted and seated promptly which was a good sign. Our waitress arrived almost immediately to take our drink order. The menu is quite extensive – from subs to pizza to calzones. Rather than order 2 separate entrees, we decided to share a medium Mighty Meaty pizza. The pizza was fresh-baked but arrived after 5-10 minutes, piping hot. The pizza was very good – the crust isn’t the traditional pizza dough but rather a softer whole-wheat crust. The toppings were plentiful and very flavorful. The crust was a bit sweet which offset the meat toppings surprisingly well. The Mighty Meaty medium pizza is $20.95 – not a cheap lunch when split between 2 people but still reasonable given the size of the pizza. Unfortunately our visit was at lunch so we weren’t able to sample the tremendous beer selections. The next visit will have to be after work.
