Great crab soup lots of crab chunks. The hush puppies had a sweet onion taste, and the Texas boiled shrimp had a great flavor and the Vienna lager beer was a surprise, Would come back again
Guy of Triple D got it right!. Come casual, come hungry! With a view of the Jones River I was in hog heaven! Well, Smithfield is just down the road. Have to get the crab soup – Delish! Lots of crab, flavor, and served piping hot. If I were part giraffe I’d have licked the bowl. The crab cakes also all crab meat. Squirt of lemon ready to go! Everything was served piping hot. My sides were kale and squash with pecans. The hush puppies I usually pass but not these! Server attentive and knowledgeable. Got key lime pie to go – home made!. Visit by car or visit by boat but definitely visit! Guy of Triple D is so right! ‘Til next time – happy eating!
First time here and we are amazed it took us so long to visit, being just 10 minutes away. Very casual atmosphere and great food. The fare is more expensive than other seafood restaurants but your dollars are buying fresh and well-prepared dishes. My iced tea ran out a couple of times but otherwise we had good service. The captain himself even came by to say hello!
