I stopped by Sakana Sushi with a friend for lunch. It was a great experience. I really liked their quality. They are definitely authentic In their preparations and presentations. The fresh Tuna Roll is AMAZING! I had a wonderful time. This place stacks up against any Sushi Restaurant in Hampton Roads. If you like Sushi, you will like Sakana. Great Job Sakana Sushi!
I love this place. It is not just the sushi but everything on the menu is great. The flavor of all their dishes are really good. The sushi chef has worked at other restaurants owned by this same owner and is he is my favorite chef. As a Carrollton resident, I refuse to eat Asian anywhere else but here. Carrollton is not very kind to restaurants and I want to keep this one around. Maybe she will add back a Pho soup to her menu. Don’t forget to order more than $10 to get the best free volcano roll. It is the best volcano roll in town.

Best Sushi experience ever. Stumbled on Sakuna coming back from the peninsula and wow what great owners, service and food. These people know how to run a Restauraunt. I live in southern Suffolk and will drive all the way here everytime for sushi. Simply fabulous!!
