Amazing flavor!!!!! One of my top three places in Hampton roads. The moment you walk in you feel the pride this mom and pop place takes on their food. never a disappointment.
A hidden gem! The personable young man and his mother show great pride in their cuisine, and take the time to explain the choices. Informative and delicious. We enjoyed the palata(fresh crispy grilled bread), and the polao (Flavored jasmine rice) topped with a moist tilapia for my guest and shahi chicken (royal chicken marinated in yogurt and spices) for me. A side order of (chotpotti (chickpea salad, highly recommended by a vegan guest) rounded out the meal, topped off with a light limeade. Eat here! Wonderful flavors, wonderful people.
On the expensive side but it’s good food especially if you are looking for something different and ethnic. Much better for you than the traditional American foods as well. Nice clean little place, we tried a little of everything.
Fun dinner. Went for dinner with wife and adult son, had chicken dish, beef dish vegie dish and appetizers, all were great, sides were excellent, may go back just for appetizers and dessert
Great food. I’ll be back.. My wife and I had the goat bhiryani on Saturday. Ordered the platter with the was the chop and chutney. I will have the chutney every time I go. Delicious. Everything was fresh and seemed like family recipes. I’m going back for takeaway next week.
Love it. Great food for a good price. Also, the restaurant is very clean.
Good food. We went for lunch a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed our meal. The food is ordered cafeteria style. The selection is not huge but there variety was good with generous portions. The food is not cheap in either taste or price however. For a nice sit down meal I find the food a bit better and about the same price just down the street at Nawab.
