It’s so good!!!. I stopped in and had an excellent lunch on Thursday. It was my first visit for 2015 and I’ve been craving a meal from here for quite a while now.They had already packed up the serving station so I looked at the board and then the lady behind the counter told me the lunch special was a goat curry dish and gave me a sample. I decided to go with that. It was served with rice and a side of broccoli with a piece a bread as well.I can’t recall if I’ve had goat or not before. If I have, it was probably 20 years ago when I was in Europe. I was expecting a tough piece of meat however this dish was so tender that the meat practically fell apart. My compliments to the chef, she really knows what shes doing. The closet approximation I could make would be that it was kind of like a very tender roast beef.Lunch was just excellent and I’m already looking forward to my next trip.02 Jun, 2014Cilantro is Awesome!. I finally had lunch here on a rainy Friday afternoon a few weeks ago and have to say that it is one of the best meals I’ve had in ages. I’ve been wanting to visit Cilantro since sampling their food last summer at the big Yelp event downtown. It was the absolute highlight of the event.They had just broken down the station out front however the owner told us what the special had been that day and made us plates and brought them out to us. I had Scallion Telapia, Tamarind Eggplant, Rice & Sriracha wings. Everything on here was excellent and honestly I could have eaten another plate.Now that they’re expanding their hours I’m hoping to make it a regular stop on the way home from work. You have got to try this food out. You’ll be so glad that you did.
