YES TO SHAKES. I’ve only had the milkshakes, so that’s all I can talk about, but can i tell you THEY ARE AWESOME. I’ve had the strawberry cheesecake, which is literally made with an entire slice of new york cheesecake. I’ve tried the strawberry cheesecake, mint oreo, and banana pudding. All have been outstanding. My husband ordered a vanilla once and had an entire whole banana in it. Haha, don’t know what happened there, I suppose it was just a one time fluke. Regardless, it’s a must-try! The milkshakes are huge and only like $2.70.
LUNCH. We ate two Xs the week of 4/22/13. The hamburger was so good the first time I couldn’t switch. The are not little frozen patties. Good Burgers with everything on it. 🙂 And the cole slaw is really good. And the Fries are Awesome. Seriously, that is what mostly made me want to go back. My hubby Got pulled pork – – they need to put more sauce on them he said. Anything for a corndog to pulled pork sandwiches. 🙂 We’ll catch them again when we go back. Try it – – – Hope you like it too. They are are Busy All Day and Night.
Extremely disappointed.. I’ve been twice.. I’ve had the burgers, the chicken, the fries, the quesidilla.. and the milk shakes.. and none of it has been good. I honestly don’t understand the hype.. it’s just not good. I’d rather go to chic fila or wendys if I’m gonna eat fast food.
Despite being very busy all the time, the service and quality of the food at Cookout is exceptional. The burgers actually taste like real ingredients used in real food. It really does have the outdoor, backyard in the summer feel. The chicken there is a tad too crunchy, but for the price and quality, the place is exceptional.
Glad to see a store in Norfolk. VERY busy.
