Best Sushi in Town!!. This Sakura has the absolute best, freshest sushi in the area. We come all the way from the Hilltop area to eat here.
Great sushi. Excellent service. I recommend the Sushi Lunch Box. $7.95 for soup, salad, rice, 5 pc assorted and 3 pc Cali roll.
Awesome place. Always has Great service, great food, great atmosphere. If you’re considering going here, do it. You won’t be disappointed.
Immediate Favorite!. Husband, daughter and I ate here last night, and it’s definitely going to be a frequent dinner spot for us from now on.The yellowtail roll, spicy tuna roll, and salmon roll that we ordered for appetizers were fantastic. We had no idea how big the rolls would be, nor how gigantic the dinners would be, so we ordered far too much food, but our teriyaki chicken (not too sweet, and the onions were killer!) and tempura chicken (best Panko breading in the area) made awesome leftovers today.Daughter’s a picky eater, but she loved the rice and miso soup. As did husband and I. The salad was great too – the ginger dressing was perfect.
Great place to go to!. This is our favorite place to go to for Steak/chicken teriyaki!! I love the owner, very friendly and hospitable. The place is small, but very clean and warm 🙂 We go here at least 2-3 times a month and everytime its worth the time and money!!
Sakura Rocks.. Not to be confused with the Sakura on Virginia Beach Blvd., this small shop rocks! I believe it is the most underrated sushi spots in Virginia Beach. I’ve tried Fire Ninja, Volcano (both locations), Domo Sushi (Granby), Sakura, and Nana Sushi in Suffolk, Yama Sushi on General Both and others I dont wish to mention, and hands down for the price and quality it is the best. If you want the glam and glitz for taking someone on a date I definitely would go with Fire Ninja or Volcano (if you must). If you are in the Suffolk area I’d definitely try Nana. But if you want quality sushi with great customer service with long hours, I would with no regrets recommend Sakura on Newtown. Try their White House Roll or Kill Bill Rolls, both excellent.
This is by far the best sushi restaurant in all of the Hampton roads area!!! Ken the chef makes the biggest and best rolls I’ve ever seen for a reasonable price!!! A must go to spot!
