The best in town. At 70, i have been going here for a long time, but i started out with his pop in norfolk long before.4 with mustard and 1 with no bun -like automatic. my dog jack gets the no bun one.
Hot dogs and beer. That’s it. BEST dog I’ve ever had. I go there 3-4 times a week.
Horrible Customer Service. I went into this place for the first time and ordered two dogs. Because there is also a Tony’s in Norfolk, I asked the gentlemen(owner?) was he affiliated as they had pretty good dogs. He rudely goings into a fit about the question itself. A customer is standing there laughing at his rant and he goes on to attack the customer asking what he thinks is so funny. He then throws my order on the counter, at which point, I decline to buy the food. I know the question triggered it but it was very strange not to see one person of color(any) in this establishment at lunchtime. To all I recommend Lindy’s Hot Dog Tidewater Drive in Norfolk near DMV Widgeon Rd. Great tough skin dogs, great service, fries and other menu items available.
Love It !. Best hot dogs anywhere , love the chili !
Needs work. Tony’s is simple, hot dogs and soda. I like simple; In and Out Burgers of California is my favorite burger joint, and they’re extremely simple too. But, Tony’s is lacking in my opinion. The dogs have too much onion; the chili tastes like meat without any seasoning. It needs more punch from the chili and less from the onions. The dog itself is great; I can’t argue with a good tough skin. The menu should be simple, but they’re hindering themselves with no fries or desert. All in all, it’s doesn’t stand up to Perfectly Frank or Pop’s Hot Dogs (before the old retired and the new management ran them into the ground).
No fancy anything here, just the best hot dog within 500 miles.
GOD-like hot dogs. Eat here immediately.
