Wow! Discover Captain K in April 2018 and have eaten there five-plus times a month ever since. Love their steamed crabs: cleanest crabs I ever had, very full inside, white meat, seasoned but not too much. Usually, I get sick after eating steamed crabs because of too heavily seasoned or not adequately cleaned. I have yet to get sick after eating Captain K’s crab. Have eaten fried whiting fish, sandwich, shrimp, scallops, fried crabs, fries, cole slaw, broiled fish and hushpuppies and would give each a rating of 5. Best hole-in-the-wall I visited. I recommend to family and friends whenever they inquire about a place to eat seafood, especially crabs. Mostly takeout, but the family is friendly and appreciate my business. I respect and call them friends too!

Great Fried Seafood. Well with a family of 5 it is hard to eat seafood at a reasonable price. With three teenage boys that love fried shrimp this is an excellent place to go. It took about 15 to 20 minutes from Virginia Beach Ocean front but it was well worth it. We walked right in and order and was finished in an hour. It is located in a strip mall and has 6-8 booths. Mostly take out but the family was very nice and appreciated our business. We ate more than we should for less than $42.00 We ate fried shrimp and clam strips. A must go if you have to watch your money. It was clean and in a good area. Not a dive.
Wow!. We saw the reviews and HAD to try this place. It’s a little hole in the wall (but clean), but delicious. We ordered a sampler and two meals. Everything was cooked perfectly and was not greasy at all. I highly recommend this place – we will make a point to return!
Suprised. My wife and I stopped by for lunch today and were amazed. Hole in the wall feel with a great product. We had the platter with tilapia fish and chips as well as chicken strips. The platter included a hush-puppy, crab-cake, shrimp, and scallops. The platter was 8.99 and could have easily fed my wife and I. The portions are huge. note: the food was primarily fried. But I haven’t had better fish and chips in the area.
