The sushi is good… But the service is either good or really really bad to the point of over the top rude… We have experienced this rudeness twice with two different female servers. We have not eaten in since and probably won’t. We only go back for carry out because it is across the street from our house…
My wife’s and I absolutely love this place, we go at least once a week. The atmosphere is nice, the staff are polite, they offer great specials, military discount and returning customer discounts. I have never ever been charged a tip, they earn it with out having to charge for it. Highly recommended!
Not impressed. They did …. Not impressed. They did not add gratuity. Servers were pleasant. Sashimi was big and meaty. Sushi was plated nicely and well designed. A small sample was brought out before ordering. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. However, there was a higher rice to fish ratio and the rolls weren’t spectacular. Also, the cooks were NOT Japanese and mediocre sushi was pricey. We will not be returning.
SNEAKY & UNETHICAL. My family went to try Domo Sushi off Princess Ann. Everything was good until we paid the bill. I can NOT believe that they AUTOMATICALLY Charge you 18% Tips when there were only 2 people eating in the restaurant. Of course, it could be my mistake of not viewing the bill correctly, but they put the TIPS right underneath the taxes. So, if you didn’t READ it CAREFULLY like I did until I paid with my credit card, that’s when I know that they charge me 18% tips. On top of that, after you paid with credit card, they have a nerve to ask you to give ADDITIONAL TIPS to them AGAIN. To the future customer, I will suggest you to LOOK at the bills CAREFULLY. TO ME, I think it’s very UNETHICAL OF THEM TO AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE YOU TIPS AND ON TOP OF THAT, THEY ASKED YOU TO GIVE THEM TIPS AGAIN. I think tips is give out by customer service, since when it has become AUTOMATICALLY REQUIRED to give? Don’t you all think it’s very unethical of them to do so? We won’t go back there again. That’s cheating………
Great sushi!. Excellent service, fresh ingredients, artful preparation and an attractive, super clean facility. These guys really do wonderful sushi, sashimi, maki and all of the others goodies!
I just happened to be driving by Donor Sushi so I decided to stop,and I must say I am glad I did because there spicy shrimp roll was seriously the best one I had ever had! I will definitely be going back in the very near future.
Dinner tonight was disappointing. Service below par and rolls uninspiring. We’ve eaten here several times and it’s been great so maybe tonight was just an off night.
