  Great show but the fact that the fat bouncer won’t allow you to talk and laugh with your friends, ruined the experience! Will NOT return, EVER!!!

  Bad Service – Rude Staff. There are a ton of places in Virginia Beach to go and have fun – This is not one of them! Save your money and go somewhere else, its just not worth it! Every negative thing you read in the reviews is true. Its a horrible experience!

  Terrible Customer Service. I received the worst customer service of my life at this place before I had even got to the show. I was sent an email that I could get 6 free tickets for an upcoming show. I purchased the tickets via the link and entered the code the email stated. When I went through the process, the credit card information and ticket info were on the same screen. There was no confirmation screen. I ended up getting charged full price for 6 tickets instead of the service fees (120$ vs 20$). I called IMMEDIATELY to try and remedy the situation and was told by the reservation assistant that they could not offer a refund or cancel the purchase and my bank said they could not cancel a pending purchase. I asked to speak with a manager. The assistant put me on hold for 20 minutes without checking up on me to let me know a manager wasn’t there. I called on another phone and the assistant told me a manager wasn’t in and took down my information. When I received no phone call, I called the club back the next day. The manager refused to make any amends, cut me off and gained an attitude. This would have been my fourth time to the club (2 paid in full trips) with my friends consuming much more than the 100$ difference in alcohol.I will never return to this Funny Bone location and am upset that what could have been an easy customer service solution turned into a nasty situation. Companies need to realize the importance of customer satisfaction and retention.

  Eat dinner before your show, unless you’re already drunk, I’m sure at that point, everything would taste good.

  Not a laughing matter – The comics were funny but that’s were it stopped. The funny bones venue is awful. It’s overpriced (paid $12 for 2 Coors lights) and they charged mandatory gratuity on the bill even though we could not get the waiter back. Rude and nasty staff treat you like stupid cattle, Confusing xeroxed paper signs everywhere. Too small, overcrowded fire hazard. They cram you into a tiny table with strangers. The comics were great but the venue SUCKS! no joke. Really bad experience and I would never ever go here again.

  Great Entertainment, Terrible Food. The Funny Bone is definitely not a place to satisfy a craving for good food or even subpar food. I have tried different things on the menu only to be disappointed each time. How can someone manage to screw up something as simple as nachos? As if that wasn’t bad enough, the fries aren’t even that good. They would do well to serve up pre-packaged snacks or even popcorn. You can’t bungle those up. On another note, the entertainment has been most enjoyable each time that I have been and if you’re looking for a good laugh and a good time, consider Town Center Funny Bone. They do a kick butt job of selecting entertainment! Just stick with the drinks and if you’re drinking alcohol, please make sure you have a designated driver or call a cab!
