Won’t eat breakfast there again. A friend and I had breakfast there last Saturday. We ordered the Greek omelet on the recommendation of the local paper. The omelet was watery, maybe because the feta was not drained properly. The gyro meat was salty and I could not taste any lamb in it. The tomatoes were paper thin, anemic and mushy. I would think that a Greek restaurant would use a seeded roman for a better tasting winter tomato. The supposed hash browns were boiled, mushy and unevenly cut. They were passed over the grill and had an Old Bay type seasoning. The service was a little slow but pleasant. The whole thing was salty almost to the point of being inedible. I love a good gyro, but if this is the meat they use, I’ll pass and give Elias’ a go.
Great food! But I don’t know about the sweet tea
Throw back in time…. This little restaurant reminds me of an era gone by. It appears to be family owned and operated. Our waitress was wonderful. The tea was very good. The gyro and hot dogs were good. The fries were amazing… Can’t wait to try their all-day breakfast items.

George’s is a Family based Restaurant you feel at home when you eat there. It’s the best gyro, Souvlaki and other Greek food restaurant in Virginia Beach. Also, it’s affordable prices, great service and enjoyable place. Don’t forget to get your sweet iced tea, the best iced tea in town
It’s actually called George’s but I still liked it. It looks like a traditional diner and they have a broad menu of breakfasts, sandwiches, and of course hot dogs. the even have a choice between two types of hot dogs: Hormel beef tuff skin or Nathan’s Coney Island. I got the hot dog combo with onion rings, which includes two dogs and fries for $5 ($6 with onion rings). The dogs come with your choice of toppings and were very good. Virginia Beach seems to be the hot dog capitol of Virginia so I’m sure it’s a constant competition, but I’ll be back to George’s!
The best place to eat in the 757. Dannys has been around for 60 years and still going. I’ve ate at doumars, tubbys, luos, and tony’s by far dannys is the best hot dog stand in virginia. The family owned people are so friendly. It only takes a few minutes to make your food and its cooked to order; you cant bet that. So stop by and see why everybody votes dannys as the best hotdog stand in VA. Homemade chili for the dogs. You love slaw dogs well you havent taste anything better untill you taste dannys slaw dogs. Its just DELICIOUS
