Authentic Korean Food. The food here is excellent and just what I expected from a little family owned restaurant. My son ordered the bibimbap and cleaned the bowl. He does not like mushrooms but he ate those too. He absolutely loved it! I ordered the spicy pork and it was really good too. I liked the idea of the help yourself kimchee bar. I highly recommend this place if you want good authentic Korean food.
Good food. This place is the perfect hole in the wall/ authentic place. I had been shopping at the Korean store attached for over a year and didn’t realize there was a restaurant attached. The food is inexpensive and authentic and the service was great with the cook heckling me to take more kimchi from their kimchi bar.
The Best in Town!!!. This is by far the best place to enjoy an authentic Korean meal in all of Hampton Roads. The food is amazing, the portions are substantial and the prices are ridiculously reasonable. You can sit, help yourself to the Kim Chi bar while you watch TV and your food being prepared at the same time!!The employees and other customers are super friendly. I usually end up having great conversation with the other food loving patrons due to the intimate atmosphere. So, if you don’t mind serving yourself (don’t come here expecting to be waited on) and want the best Korean food in the area….. go to Hana now!!!
Fantastic!!!!. I frequent Hana’s market regularly. The food is authentic Korean cuisine. Every dish I have tried has been excellent (I have tried most of the menu). The kimchi bar is a nice set of side items to enjoy with your meal.
So good!! Very authentic korean food. Not much to look at but the food makes up for it. I went off the other review and tried the dubokki (sp?)- amazing!!! My fianc was very happy with his daeji bulgogi. Prices can’t be beat compared to other local korean restaurant. We will be back!
Loooove Hana Market Restaurant! Authentic Korean food from Chef Eun Joo is so delicious! It’s easy to miss because it is attached to their Korean market. Their restaurant hours are Monday through Saturday 11:00-8:00. Eat in or get your food to go. Can’t wait to get some fresh kimchee and bulgogi! The owner told me they are updating their Facebook page soon.
Yummy Goodness!!!. This was my first Korean food experience and it was fantastic!! Fresh and made to order always served with a smile. I can’t wait to go back again and again. The bulgogi is so good. And the hot bibimbap is a slice of heaven. How could I have not known about Korean food for this long. Chef Eon Joo warms up my heart with her smiles and always gives us a nice treat – last time it was a melon from her garden. Love it!!!
