Great. I love this place… my Chinese friend took me there the first time and since then it has become my favorite place to eat. I’ve tried different dishes from the tradicional Chinese menu and I’ve never been disappointed. I love everything! Dim sum are great appetizers and I really love the flower tea. I can go on and on, but If you haven’t tried this place do so because you are missing out 😉

The spring rolls were fantastic. My pork lo mein was bland and garlic blasted. My mother’s house egg foo young was also bland. We won’t be going back. So sad to see how high of reviews this place got only to get the food and only enjoy the spring rolls.
Worst restaurant ive been to.. Bad customer service. I waited 45 mins before they took my order.. They barely came back to ask if i needed something! Its Ridiculous! Were not coming back here anymore!
Very good food. I’ve been coming here for a few years now and the good has always been the best Chinese food in the area. One of the things that usually turned me off about the place was the service. Someof the server are nice but most are a bit rude. But there is a new server or atleast new to me and he is really good. He is very attentive which as a server myself is something I like my server to be. Always has a positive attitude and very polite. Next time I go I will look for him to be my server.
Jade Villa has the best and most authentic Chinese food in Hampton Roads.It has the foods and atmosphere usually found in the Chinatown sections of NY, Honolulu, or San Francisco.There are actually 3 types of menu:The white menu with Chinese food available at any Chinese take out,A red menu with authentic and frequently unfamiliar dishes , andThe dim sum menu, which looks like paper place mat- you need to ask for it.There is Dim Sum service on weekends during the day, but many plates are available for dinner service as well.Tonight we sampled the dim sum eggplant with shrimp paste($2.75 for 3) and the pan fried dumplings($2.50 for 3)Both were excellent.Our main courses were 1/2 Peking duck served with Chinese pancakes ($15.00),and Jade Villa roast platter(16.00) that had a trio of duck on the bone, pork and jelly fish.Everything was good;The duck was the star of the night though: crispy, tender and not greasy or gamey.The roasted platter was good as well, but for this American palette the jelly fish was not something I would order again.The atmosphere was nice, it was very family orientated with folks from 8 to 80.I would recommend it for everyone.
