Negativity nulled.. After my first few times eating at Jason’s Deli, I fully intended to write them a negative review. Before I got around to it, though, I had time to eat there a bunch of more times. Now I find that the things that I disliked about the place (archiac – almost cryptic – online ordering procedures, weirdly inconsistent pricing, the fact that most of their side dishes are truly disgusting) are overshadowed by the general wholesomeness of the menu. I usually get the half veggaletta, which is a (half) round of soft sesame bread filled with assorted vegetables and an olive tapenade that is just this side of too salty. Their guacamole is pretty good, too. Give them a few chances and you’ll probably find something you like.
Best deli in the area. I’ve had several sandwiches from here, and they must use magical meat because they’re always so, so good. They pile the meat on high, and will tailor your sandwich anyway you want and never get the order wrong.Their salad bar has amazingly fresh and good vegetables. Whenever I’m near Pembroke I usually stop by just to pile up a carryout container with veggies for use at home – they’re far superior to anything I can get in the super market. Best thing is I can just use my credit card at a kiosk near the salad bar, so I don’t even have to wait in line.
Worst bread ever for a sandwich, you don’t serve hard, dried, no tasting, not soft bread for a sandwich. The bread is the best part of the sandwich and everything else follows. I miss my Jersey subs that tastes great and worth the money.
I would go here every day if I could. Everything is good, and good for you. Salad bar is so fresh, although there is no meat on it so it’s a bit overpriced. But free soft serve ice cream – what could be better?!
Where to start?! This place is an all around great eatery, large selection, big portions and most importantly, great tasting food.
Quick, healthy meals. I loved coming here when I lived in Va Beach for a quick, healthy dinner. Salad bar was always fresh, service was great and we left happy.
Best sandwichs in hampton. I love this place. I could eat here every day. Ive had several differant sandwich, soups and baked potatoes and they are all very VERY good. I love the plain jane baked potatoe. Everything is always very fresh, never any wilted letuce or slimy tomatoes. The black current tea is great.
