Had some great Pancit at a work function, decided to hunt down Filipino takeout so I could have Pancit whenever I wanted. I Tried Maymar based on the recommendations here and I have to disagree with the glowing reviews. The foods not awful, but it’s not great either. Kinda bland. The noodles were really mushy and it just didn’t taste like anything. Still searching for great Filipino takeout.

Excellent Flavor, Everyday Price. Right-on Filipino flavor. Everyday price. I recommend the lumpia and the menudo both on rice.

Not even close to the best Filipino Food. The most god awful place I have ever had Filipino food, cheap ingredients, old food, nasty and dirty establishment, it is beyond me how this business is even open for what I see is the lack of cleanliness and proper food handling procedures.For those who rated this establishment has superior Filipino cuisine , you must be the owners.
Really like Maymar. We’ve tried several places for Filipino lumpia, fried rice, and pancet, Maymars is where we frequent now. They serve good portions at reasonable prices. We often buy large take out trays for parties. Its a great change of pace from burgers and hotdogs. Where many competitors are bland and common, Maymars full flavored … tack on Filipino flavor.
THE BEST At The Beach. They have THE Best Lumpia and pansit in Tidewater Va.Fast Friendly and a pleasant experience.
