Mission BBQ is a great place for real down home BBQ. I had the pulled pork sandwich. Totally delicious. The fries are hand cut and very tasty. I especially liked the Coke slaw, very balanced and tangy. Great atmosphere lots of fun. I’ll be back. 5 Stars!
We were surprised that the food was so good. The brisket was a bit dry and only because it was cut wrong and not smoked well. There was no pink ring! Great pulled pork, mediocre bbq sauces. To get our real home bbq sauce, we just mixed together 2 sauces. First bbq joint we’d go back to in the area!
Delicious!!!. This is great authentic backyard Bbq. My family has eaten here three times in the past month. They have bbq sauces from all corners of the America sure to please any true bbq fan. I think we have tried all the meat selections and they are smoke to perfection and fall off the bone tender. This place is a must try!!
Outstanding. Came into this place expecting outstanding smells and even better food. Well that’s what I got. Brisket was tender and the pulled pork was even better. I will return here in the very near future to enjoy even more BBQ .
Early closing. On Wednesday November 12, 2014 I went to the location on Independence Blvd @ 9:40 and the doors were already locked….the sign states open until 10:00…not a good way to start a new business…there were 2 other cars that pulled in after me and they were also upset because of the early closing
Try this BBQ!!. Though this place can be a little tricky to get to off independence Blvd, go try it!! The BBQ was not over sauced, the ribs fell off the bones. Atmosphere and staff were both great. Mac and cheese tasted like momma made it. Buy the wounded warrior cup and help our military veterans!!
