Enjoyed a meal at the new Newport News P. F. Changs last night. The food was fantastic; the dcor was amazingly dark yet somehow inviting. I ordered 3 appetizers (small plates & dim-sum) but the food appeared to be more than enough (lettuces wrap, spare ribs and dumplings). My Grubbing partner ordered even more filling dishes (Mongolian beef and lo mein). The food was wonderful, and the wait staff was diverse, attentive and welcoming. The restaurant was seriously packed for a Tuesday night. The only drawback was that we felt rushed by the wait staffs desire to replace our table with new patrons that kept coming in. Otherwise Id go back there to try the other delicious items on their menu.

Dirty glass. I took my family out on feb 28th about 4 o:clock my check number is #30035 I paid $102.25 my complaint is that glass where very dirty as if the where never washed we sent 3 glass back I finely asked for a too go cup we complained to manager he did nothing for us nor did he take are drinks off ether I just could not believe how dirty the glass are, I just wish the health department was around to see this and the rest of the people eating there. my name is Mark Worton my phone number is 757 374 2110 po box 16925 Chesapeake va 23328 this is not healthy for my family or any one else. Not for me. Food can be had at a good buffet. Service is not good. Management does not do it’s job, children running around disturbing other guests and not a peep from the oblivious parents or the floor manager. Not sure how this place can be so crowded but they must be doing something right, I just couldn’t see it.
Food is good… Very consistent in quality.. However if you ever order take out check your order before you leave. They have messed up and left out items in my Togo orders every time!!

Better swing for the fence…. I really liked P.F. Chang’s the first time I went. My kung-pao chicken was really good and the hot chili peppers gave it quite a kick. Since then, I’ve had a few P.F. Chang’s meals from the frozen food section of the grocery store, and on my subsequent two visits I thought the food in the restaurant tasted a lot like the frozen meals. The food seemed really bland, especially the Dan Dan Noodles, which are billed as a spicy dish. The wait times can be pretty long for dinner. It’s just not worth the wait and the money for bland food covered in a semi-sweet glaze. I’m not opposed to going back once more, but Chang’s is about to strike out with me.
