Great speedy service! I must say I was impressed with this Pho78. I ordered the chicken pho with crispy spring rolls at it was delicious! I would definitely recommend this spot!
Let me start by saying how disappointed I have been in the pho locally. That all changed when I went to Pho 78. All of the Pho 79 chain that I have been to smell like beef fat and offer little in the way of a tasty broth. Pho 78 is amazingly clean and well decorated. We started with the soft and the fried spring rolls. The soft spring rolls were stuffed with pork and shrimp and the usual shredded lettuce but I don’t recall any rice noodles. The dipping sauce was thick peanut garnished with chopped peanuts. The fried spring rolls were delicious served with the customary fish sauce dipping sauce and pickled radish and carrot garnish. We both had the pho thai to which I added meatballs. The broth was amazingly rich and delicious without adding any of the customary inclusions of sriracha and hoisin sauces. The one complaint is that the fresh basil that is served on the side was a little skimpy but I may tend to use more than the average person so that is strictly a personal thing. The meatballs were delicious and the sliced beef was very tender. Overall, we loved the food and the service and can’t wait to go back.
