Solid Italian food, gracious hosts. I had the generous Spinach Lasagna, my party enjoyed Chicken Parmesan and standard meat lasagna. All servings were generous; to go boxes for all . Shared two kinds of Tiramisu for dessert– the almond one was interesting but I prefer the classic. Lovely evening with friends. Look for the Outback next door, as it can be difficult to find.

I don’t come to virginia beach area often but always stop here at least once no matter how short my trip is. They owners will make you feel like family, and the food is delicious, and authentic.

Authentic Italian. Pulcinella is an authentic unpretentious Neapolitan Italian restaurant. As for the comments about slow service, Italians wait for a signal from the diner. A nod or a gesture toward your wine bottle will bring you service quickly. The quality of the food here surpasses any picky issues. It’s a local Italian family serving authentic deliciious food in a simple setting. Go!!!!

Nice Family Atmosphere – Strange Meat. The food is very good at this restaurant, I just have an issue with the meat. The sausage and meatballs have an odd taste to them. Almost a gamey taste.

Went here with a girlfriend of mine on a whim and we were both pleasantly surprised. Quaint little restaurant with charm and the food was delicious. We split a Pollo Parmigiana and it was more than enough for the two of us. The food tasted like authentic Italian food. Service was good too. So it was an overall very good experience. Will come again.

I don’t typically eat pasta for lunch but my friend raved about the restaurant and the homemade everything, so we agreed to meet there. The place was empty, our waitress was friendly and efficient, and the bowl of pasta I had was delicious. I ate the whole thing, and took an order of tiramisu and 2 cannolis to go (my family loved the desserts). Great little find.

Just what I Wanted. I wanted some authentic italian like a good Chicken Scallopini, not pizza and pasta. This place had it all! Meals are big enough that you could split them if you usually like moderate portions. Great experience.
