Outstanding St Louis style ribs (though the portions of main and sides are down since a year ago)! However, it seems that their Guest WiFi is not working and the waitress doesn’t know if it will ever work again. That might be showstopper event for me.14 Jul, 2013Great ribs! Especially their St Louis style ribs. Reminds me of the spare ribs mom used to make at home. Don’t fall for the Thursday night $1.00 special where you can get the St. Louis style ribs with an addition of beef, pork, or chicken. You used to get a full rack (5-6 very meaty ribs) of the ribs with the addition. Now Rib City will only give you three ribs (or half of a rack of the St. Louis ribs) with your choice of beef, pork or chicken. Simply order the St. Louis ribs entree and forget their Thursday special.
Pretty Good ‘Q. Most everything was good if a little pricey. I expected a hole the wall, not a sit-down real restaurant (don’t ask me why, just the impression). Staff was professional and friendly. Sauces are very good and worth taking a bottle home.
Ribs must be their specialty. I had the pork lunch plate. It was thinly sliced pale ham. Very fatty. Flavor was non-eventful but not bad. All the sauces tasted pretty much the same. Reminded me of Dusseldorf mustard which I love on my White Castles. I guess I was a little disappointed. Oh, and they don’t take Discover card.
Incredible atmosphere. I walked in here with mixed emotions, but walked out with a smile on my face and a full belly. All the sauces are amazing, and made a great complement to the smokey moist meats. Waitstaff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. Kid friendly, and they were awesome with my two-year old. Danielle was one of the best waitresses I have had in a long time. We will be making the 40 minute trip out here more often. Thank you Rib City!
Great place and prices for ribs. My waitress was super friendly. The food is excellent. Everything was fresh. I loved their homemade baked beans and their fall off the bone ribs are amazing! I’ll definitely be a regular.11 Aug, 2013Comes out pipin hot! Served with mild or spicy ranch.
I got takeout for Father’s Day dinner. Had the Babyback Combo with Baked Beans. I thought it was very tasty. I usually go to Smokey Bones but Rib City is closer to my home amd taste just as good if not better. The price was reasonable also. This was my third visit.
