We went there on a Saturday night. Realized it was all you can eat, which we weren’t thrilled with but for $20 bucks how could you go wrong? We were so very wrong. By far the worst sushi anyone in our party had ever eaten. Literally had better sushi from a supermarket. Of course, the quality was so bad we barely ate. The drinks were poorly made and beers we warm. There was literally nothing redeeming about the experience. We were hoping to find a good local sushi place, but this was not it.
Save your change to experience this delight. The menu had 50+ items that are delicious and all u can eat! Thank me later!
Less than impressed. The sushi was just okay. Nothing special here. The decor of the restaurant was pretty cool and the service was good, but the sushi pretty much was nasty. My girlfriend and I couldn’t stomach a roll because is was too mushy and not very fresh.
Mediocre at best. Went during dinner time for the sushi, started with gyoza and miso soup and had a specialty roll and several pieces of nigiri and sashimi. Pretty standard fare as far as the fish went, however the salmon stood out as the frontrunner, being fresh and properly garnished with lemon butter. The tuna was absolutely abhorrent and left a residual taste in my mouth for several hours afterwards. One major sticking point with the sushi was the rice – tough and chewy; not what sushi rice should be. The miso soup was, well, miso soup, nothing special, and while the gyoza was good the first time around a reorder rendered a chewy, lukewarm and undercooked dumpling – no beuno. Overall, the experience was much like the gyoza – decent for a portion, however overall lukewarm. While the $20 all-you-can-order setup is enticing, it’s well worth it to invest a few more dollars in your meal and go with sushi of superior quality.
Sakura @ Salem Crossing is Excellent!. Wasn’t a sushi fan until my daughter & son-in-law brought me here. Now it’s one of my faves and our whole family goes at least every other week. Wait staff here is very good and very personable. Food is excellent and variety is very good at a very fair price. Even a non-sushi lover has options on their AYCE menu & those foods are also very good. Definitely go hungry since there’s so much to enjoy. It’s hard not to over-indulge because we’ve found all of the items we’ve tried, to be delicious. Only issue we’ve encountered has been not enough high chairs, so it would be nice if they had more available for our use. My family includes 3 little ones, and 2 are high chair users. Other than that, we love, love, love this restaurant!
Food was great…. However menu was misleading on cost. Do not go there for one sushi roll. It is all you can eat, but not a buffet and if you have left overs oh we’ll they throw it away and you are not allowed to take it with you. Oh yeah, one last thing. If you have too much food left over…they charge you extra. WTF
