Delicious. Order half of the Salsalito panini with a cup of one of the three soups of the day– I got the crab and corn chowder, nice thick peppery soup with a light hot pepper afterburn– we all spooned the bowl until the coating was scraped off. Tomato basil also got high marks from my companions. Salsalito has a well deserved best sandwich of Hampton Roads ratings– grilled Rosemary panini with turkey, ham, pepper jack, spicy dressing– savored every bite. Eat here! S also is oddly sweet; others liked it.
I am a disabled veteran with a service dog. Today I was refused service because the owner told me my dog ( who is clearly marked as a service dog) was not welcome. I informed him my dog was a service dog, he acknowledged this and said I still was not welcome. I don’t recommend people support a restaurant that discriminates against disabled veterans.
I’ve never got the chance to eat there because every single time i go its closed. On sunday they say they open at 11, but its still closed at 11:20. Second time ive taken my time to try to go and I am done with it.
Went for lunch, food very good, but very slow service, I only have 30min for lunch, It took them 20 to make 2 sandwhiches, I sent a lot of people to them as a suggestion for lunch but not any more, way too slow.
Wow!!! I find that bad review really hard to believe. I go there atleast twice a week for lunch and never had a male server! Infact from the first day I started going to Simply Fresh (about a year ago) I felt right at home. Best lunch place in the town center hands down! I have tried nearly everything on the menu and not once been disappointed, wich is saying alot because my friends always tease me for being a picky eater! If I am running short on time all I have to do is let Emily ( the main server) know and she has my check ready pronto! My fresh brewed ice tea never goes empty and I am always greater with a warm smile:-) To put it in short I love this place!!!!
FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!!. This was my first time at Simply Fresh and all I can say is WOW! The portions were huge, the service was great, the food was SOOO fresh and delicious!! Amazing little cafe in Town Center! Will definitely be back! Thanks for the amazing lunch!!
