This is not the place we fondly remembered. On the positive side, the wait staff was friendly and prompt. The food was not the quality or taste we expected. The lamb stew was way over cooked and had little taste. Overall the food was poorly prepared and not very tasty. Our unhappy conclusion is that we wont be back.
Very disappointed. We attended for Easter Brunch and was very disappointed. The menu given to us while booking the reservations was not what was at the brunch. The food that was there wasn’t nothing special. We left hungry and headed home to cook another meal.
I did attend their valentines day dinner. I will never go back again! It was a supposedly a special event. There was not a thing special about it. Decor was retro 70’s, no decorations, bright lighting, and worst of all the food was poor. Five course meal with each subsequent dish made from poor quality ingredients. The cost was outrageous. 170$ this included the 16$ for two gasses of cheap wine. Really???
Avoid. Beautiful restaurant, but my last experience there will be my last.
Worst experience for our family. The kitchen staff was uneducated regarding gluten issues. They told the wait staff that we could not eat potatoes but we could eat the beer based (which contains gluten) pork chops. It took us 90 minutes to get our FIRST plates in which 3 of the 4 were incorrect. When I approached the manager, she did apologize and then stated that our food was being plated. After going back to the table we saw all of those plates go to another table. Our group ended up leaving the restaurant along with another large group that appeared to be celebrating a graduation – leaving just as disappointed as we were. Awful experience, and we have no intention of ever returning.
Amazing food and fantastic service. Really talented chef there now that rocks! Love the atmosphere and the grounds of the Inn too.
Went during restaurant week and they were totally not prepared for a large crowd. Had reservation for 730 and seated at 810. Didn’t get bread til 830. Will not return.
