Kind of meh for the special New Years Eve buffet brunch. There were high points (the crab cakes freshly pan fried with a remoulade to die for, the signature bread pudding (I am told), the smoked salmon, the green beans with almonds, the fresh berries). There were unexpectedly low points (bad biscuits, cakes not worth completing, not enough interesting cooked vegetables for health conscious to enjoy, bitter and tough roasted root vegetables). All else was average, except our exceptional and attentive server. Venue decorated beautifully for the holidays, lovely live piano music. Would be as happy with lower cost at an excellent seafood restaurant. Is the chef watching the bussed plates to see what his guests are failing to complete? Would not return without overhaul of selections.
