I just can’t get enough of this place. Everything is awesome!
Korean what. Having spent 44yrs going around the Pacific Rim I can assure you that this is not good Korean food. I spnet $30 on three plates and nothing was good not even passable. It took them 38 minutes from order to delivery over the counter and the food was bad. If you want food that you can actually eat visit McD’s and don’t waste your money here
Great food and very friendly atmosphere. We had never had Korean food before and had seen this restaurant in the local strip mall near our house. There were pictures on the wall of all the dishes accompanied by descriptions. VERY helpful for newbies. Such a friendly place – the man behind the counter was so warm and inviting. My children admired the chocoo-pies on the counter for sale and he just gave us each one. The fried mandoos were fantastic. My daughters got the Kalbi Chicken and Kalbi Ribs. Very tasty smoky flavor and I loved the potatoes that came on the side (name totally eludes me). Portions were quite large and for a reasonable price. Even though the food was very, very good – for me, what stood out was how neat and clean it was there and how hospitable and nice the staff were. People you wanted to get to know – people that you felt would take good care of you (just like his kind gesture of giving my daughers the treat). I hope this restaurant continues to do well in our area.
Korean BBQ at its best. The restaurant is in a strip mall surrounded by K-Mart and Farm Fresh. It can be easily missed. Once you enter the restaurant you feel that you are in a sub shop because of the spartan table and chairs. The food is served in styrofoam plates and you eat with plastic utensils. However, the food is fantastic. It is worth the wait while the chef cooks your order. The traditional korean dishes are present on the menu- bulgolgi and bimbap. Lastly the prices are very reasonable and in fact a lot cheaper than you would find the area Korean restaurants.
AWESOME. A dear friend introduced me to the place years ago. It’s a true hole in the wall restaurant, a real hidden gem. The food is excellent, the service is superb and the folks that run the place treat you like family. Not much on the aesthetics, but when the food is this great and affordable, who cares? I recommend it to everyone who has the slightest interest in Korean food or those that just want to try it.
I had great bbq chicken with rice and my boyfriend (a more adventurous eater) had a spicy seafood soup with all sorts of crazy seafood in it- he LOVED it
Great Food. I am from Northern Virginia where there are many wonderful Korean Restaurants. This rates right up there with the VERY BEST of them, Prices are good, portions are generous and the people who own and do the cooking are extremely pleasant. I was very fortunate to have found it and it doesn’t hurt that it is just five minutes from my home, but even if it weren’t I would travel the distance to get there! Try it out, the bul kol bi and bul gal bi are delicious!
