Yard house in town center is simple yet elegant restaurant, you will not be disappointed with your order unless you order the pizza but besides that the food that they serve is good and most of the time reasonably priced.
Holy crap! A million beers on tap. We got the queso dip, which was some mixture of 3 or 4 cheeses and had amazing flavor. I got the street tacos, vampire style and it had a delicious cheesy layer on the outside and fresh ingredients. Worth the 40 minute drive from Suffolk.
I’m a semi frequent customer here and have been enjoying the libations of the Yard House since it opened, however for the life of me I cannot come up with a reason for not posting a review before now.Most of time when I come here it’s usually meeting up with friends and we drink. YH has over 100 beers on tap they serve my beloved Purple Haze. As far as dining goes, I can count the times I’ve actually eaten here on one hand. Don’t get the wrong idea my friends the food here is delicious. The menu is diverse and if you want an average Joe Schmo sandwich or burger it’s there for the taking. For the more adventurous they also have some higher end dishes such as steaks and pastas and seafood. Always check the specials.YH is a great place for a gathering. I’d be more likely to bring a group of friends here than go on a romantic dinner. It can get a little loud and a very crowded. I’ve always had excellent service here. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the place is clean. It’s definitely worth checking out.
I heard good things about this place so I thought I’ll give it a try. Well, I wasn’t disappointed! I went on a weekday to avoid the crowds. There was plenty of seating and the place has a warehouse look inside. My server was very attentive and knowledgeable. The menu is has lots to choose from. We started with the Duck Wings appetizer. Wow, it was packed with flavor and meety. The list of beers goes on for miles. There are plenty to pick from. You get two free samples. I think you should get 6. My entree was the Lamb Burger with a side of their Sweet Potato Fries. The fries come with a maple bacon dipping sauce which made the fries dead on! The burger was cooked to my liking of medium. It was juicy and had a jalapeo spread on it which gave it a bite. This was too hot for my girlfriend. I highly recommend this place. However I’ve heard it gets purity busy on weekends.
I love this place. This visit I tried the Nashville Hot Chicken with sweet potatoe pancakes! Talk about delicious, I mean delicious! The chicken was spicy but not overbearing and the pancakes was so freaking good with the spicy hot honey sauce. I’ve been before and had the Lamb burger and the Vampire Taco. All were so good too! The waitress was awesome, good customer service! Will be back for sure!
Overpriced drinks, always very crowded… food is good, wait times on the weekend are often outrageous. Hit this place up for happy hour! Great apps.
