We went to the Yo Mama location in Chesapeake on a weekday in late April, and I must say we were very satisfied. You’re greeted by a large wall-mounted bulk candy display & very modern decor. The place is so clean you could eat off of the floors! Although we didnt try the famous Boba tea, we did have some tasty frozen yogurt. They had a good enough range of toppings, and the folks working there were nice. I can absolutely see this place giving Sweet Frog a run for it’s $. They may have a FEW less flavors (not by many), but that is made up with a great atmosphere, and more of a uniqueness in regards to which toppings they do have (like some Asian candy!). I recommend this place to anyone who wants a cleaner, less crowded, & more original version of Sweet Frog.
5/5 would recommend for froyo and bubble tea. I love going to Yo Mama for frozen yogurt. They don’t use preservatives and I didn’t notice at first until I went to another chain in town after eating primarily only Yo Mama froyo and you can taste the excess sugar/bitterness from the preservatives in the other guys yogurt. That aside, they have so many fresh toppings! They also make their own mochi m sure was what made the difference.My next adventure there will probably be their Snow-yo (pot bing su).5/5 would recommend.

Yo Mama is the hangout spot for my friends and I. We enjoy the music and the environment. The newly added boba to the menu is also delicious.
We Call it Our Own!. We are loyal Yo Mama customers. Their froyo is made on the premises from Dannon yogurt and fresh ingredients for flavor. This is a family-run small business with a loyal regular customer base. They give a discount on Sunday when you present your church bulletin.
