Great place to chill, I again will!. We recently spent a couple of days at the Embassy Suites while on business in Richmond, and I must say, I was impressed with the Hotel overall, but mostly with their restaurant and bar. The first evening after settling in, my wife and I relaxed at the very low key yet well appointed bar having Absolut & Tonic and Vodka Tonic, and the next night Bacardi Limon & Soda Cuba Libre. I have to say, the bartender knows how to prep them well. When you consider many places will use inferior brands for their rail drinks and/or water them down, not only did they not do that, but Embassys choice to have good brands for rails help. For our breakfasts we enjoyed Omelette station prep to order along with a very well stocked, fresh and well prepared buffet of mains and sides of including but not limited to bacon, potatoes and sausage, etc. along with peach juice and coffee. Given the need to stay at a relatively inexpensive location while in Richmond, I must say, I recommend it to all.
