Favorite pizza in Richmond.. Next to the Hogshead Cafe, this is my other favorite spot to eat.
Finally made it here and we were pleased. Just a good, crisp thin crust pizza. The Veggie Pizza was really solid, especially for this area, and the dinner we saw made us want to come back and try some more!
A step up. The GOOD: Richmond has a lot of pizza places — Capriccio’s definitely falls somewhere in the top ten. The toppings are good, the crust is amazing. Surprisingly good wines — best house merlot I’ve ever had. Real Italians in the kitchen. Nice staff. Easy to get a table. Easy parking. Offers takeout.The BAD: It’s in a strip mall. They’ve tried to add some charm factor but there is only so much you can do. No other complaints!VERDICT: Big fan! Doesn’t knock off Sette as Richmond’s best pizza, but probably the best you’re going to find in the west end.
Amazing Lasagna. I haven’t been to this restaurant in about a year as I live out of state. The decor has improved. They now have a bar area with a few chairs for lonely diners. It looked great. I ordered Lasagna. It has not changed. It was still the best I have ever had. The meat sauce was so tasty. I kept slurping it up with the mega hunk of fresh bread they served with my entree. I know many families were there getting pizza but they do a really nice job on entrees. HIGHLY recommend.09 Nov, 2010Great Locals Place. The lasagna is the best I have ever had! The pizza is always delicious and my children love their alfredo sauce. We always have their yummy Cannolis for dessert, even on a to go order. My favorite Italian restaurant. I can’t wait to go back.
Cute place, decent food. Calamari was good, eggplant Parmesan could have fed about 4 people, not the best I’ve ever had but ok. Subs and pizza looked delish, probably will try some other places before going back here but it was pretty good.
Bellisimo!!!. I have tried the rest, and now FOUND THE BEST!! Being an Italian from New York in VA, I have missed the food from up north…..Not anymore!! This is THE Real Deal People…We dont even go anywhere else to eat out, everyone in the family has their favorite dishes and we know what we order is hoing to be excellent and ALWAYS served with a smile!!! Talk about other pizza places in Richmond?…..FUGEDIBOUDIT!!! CAPRICCIO’S TOPS THEM ALL!!! If you havn’t tried this place yet, YOU ARE MISSING OUT!!!!
AUTHENTIC NY STYLE PIZZA IN WEST END!. Like you were dropped off on the corner of 79th street and 3rd avenue in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, the steaming cheese, the crust, the oil dripping down your sleeve, if you are from there, you know what I am talking about, this is the real deal.
