This place is now called Kabab House and has moved a couple shops, to be next to India Pastry House. We ordered veg biryani for takeout. This has been the worst veg biryani I have ever had. I am not going to this place ever again.
Ayah. Awesome biriyani
Out of garlic naan and out of butter chicken…very odd considering that both are staples. Buffet was cold. Will not eat here again!
The best biryani!. I have tried biryani from a few different places in Richmond, and this place is still my favorite. You can’t beat the value here. I usually get biryani for take-out, and they STUFF the container with biryani! You can easily get three meals out of it and it will only cost you about $10! My favorite is the paneer biryani.
Went for the dinner buffet. It was $10.99 and had about 20 choices. Everything I had was great. I had never tried goat curry before but now I am a fan. The lady running the front area was nice and very accommodating. I will definitely be back.
Changed name to Darul Kabab. They’ve changed their name to Darul Kabab.Darul Kebab has some of the best Goat Biryani in town and great Sheesh Kebabs. They have a very reasonable buffet, if you don’t mind the ambiance, with delicious and spicy options. Some things to consider:- Their food can be somewhat greasy. – Their whole fish / fish fry is very bony and can be very fishy (i.e. unlike the mild flavors of tilapia, these fish have a very strong flavor, and actually not all that great)- I would strongly recommend ordering takeout rather than eating in. Why? Because the restaurant is actually very similar to an Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi Dhaba (a street side small cafe). To break it down, the place has an overpowering odor of spices and meat, the decor and service leave much to be desired.
In love (=. Authentic Indian-Pakistani food at an inexpensive price! You get tons of delicious food for such a low price. The staff are nice also. I loved it.
