I have nothing but positives to say about this place. The Pho broth was the best I’ve had, and we know it’s all about the broth. This seems to be a neighborhood restaurant so they have to succeed by cooking what their neighbors will want. They also keep the prices very reasonable. My wife and I had a filling meal for $13 including tip. There was no problem with service or friendliness. I would definitely go again.
The best Pho ever!!!!!. I love….this place so much.The service is always fantastic and the Pho, is the best I have tasted in Richmond. I can say that once you eat here you won’t want to go anywhere else, the other places really don’t compare. Yummy, yummy, yummy!!!!!
Do you want my business?. I’ve been to this place many times and now I have to rant. I normally do this with the restaurant but social media is my only way to converse with the owners after complaining.The people who own/work here could care less about you or is it just the caucasians? To just get to the point, they are rude and could care less about you. I don’t like any chain restaurants but these guys could go for a field trip to a nice local place an learn what restaurant hospitality is,I don’t want to give a dime to this place again and I’m feeling the same thing about Pho So 1. Both act like they are doing you a favor. I’ll give my money to others, I’ve already given enough to An!
So amazing!! The broth could stand alone. It’s the most flavorful pho Ive ever had. We’ve eaten at many Vietnamese restaurants all over the US and I have to say this is one of the best! The decor and atmosphere are very unique and not at all representative of the quality of food but the staff are very kind and the place is clean!
Fresh and delicious. Frequenting this restaurant, especially since a return from travel in Southeast Asia. Their papaya salad is the best in town and all of their dishes are freshly prepared. Please note, they only take cash.
3 weeks and three different pho resturants. Pho Tay Do is hands down the best of the three I’ve had. Get the fried spring rolls for sure. Best tasting pho I’ve had so far. Quaint atomoshere and decent service. There were two draw backs though. Pho Tay Do is a small resturaunt and by consequence they have forgone getting a liquor liscence (a good Ipa would compliment the spice wonderfully). The other is contradictory to the fact I love the quaint atmosphere. Since it is so small you can hear almost everything. Which isn’t too bad unless the everything is a loudScreaming kid who’s parents don’t seem to care about( not the business owners fault)Best pho I’ve had in my early adventures. Great cheap date. Also please tip your servers a minimum of 20% no matter where you go. Unless they are rude. Thankless low paying job. I digress. 4 and 1/2 out of 5
Pho was great! Spring rolls were very fresh. Dipping sauce tasted like pure fish sauce which was disappointing. Restaurant located in old residential neighborhood turned business district which is a little weird. All considering I would return for the Pho.
