Love it!. Myself and my parents absolutely love this place. The food portions are great, the staff and management are fantastic. They recently did a remodel of their location and it feels like a little piece of Italy when youre eating there. I highly recommend Roma’s for excellent Italian food here in Richmond!
The restaraunts location isn’t in the best area of town. My first time here was yesterday. I thought the pricing was a little strap for the quality of food. I had Pollo Sorrentino. It was delicious but my wife’s meal wasn’t anything to write home about. I would rather eat at olive garden and receive better quality food for a more reasonable price! The salads weren’t that good. The worst part was when we first arrived the waitress acted as if she was forced to wait on us. And when it got busy we saw less of the waitress. She was nice yet they need to manage their tables better
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, THE FOOD! :). Roma is one of the most romantic and intimate restaurants I’ve been to. The set up is exquisite but I really like the wall trimmings and table settings — charmed elegance. They have a pretty extensive menu and on top of that, daily specials. We made reservations for lunch on this past Saturday; but when we arrived, it didn’t seem like we needed to. There were plenty of available tables, since they expanded the dining area & renovated their bar. Regardless, the staff still set a table aside for us. The staff, as before, was very friendly and polite. We ordered the Seafood all a Roma, the linguine with clam, and the bruschetta. The food was superb. We had the Portabello Filippo appetizer and the crabmeat & fresh mozzarella made in house was plump and juicy. I’d order this again. Same applies for the Seafood ala Roma. I loved this dish and wished I had ordered my own, rather than having to steal bites from my wife. My wife comes here for her favorite drink the White Cosmopolitan, they have the best drinks in Richmond & love the new bar set up.For the food, it came FRESH, well prepared, and delicious. The complimentary bread was hot and flavorful. The bruschetta came just like it did the first time we had it, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I tried some of my wife’s linguine with clam and it was also good. It was a bit sour for my taste, but my wife loved it.Because the waiter asked if we were celebrating something, I told him that we were celebrating our my wires birthday, He went back to get a complimentary dessert. SO DELICIOUS, complimented our meal! This place gives out a lot of complimentary stuff, has friendly staff, a nice inside decor, a great selection of beer, while being VERY delicious. At the very end, we really enjoyed our lunch & the pricing is very decent with the portions that they give. It is a shame that this place wasn’t packed with people for lunch. Anyways, I’ll definitely go again, and again, and again. Love this place!!10 Jul, 2012LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THE FOOD!! :). Roma is one of the most romantic and intimate restaurants I’ve been to. Rockin’ Good Pizza. After reading the most recent reviews for Roma’s, my husband and I were tentative about going there but we decided to try it anyway and we are thrilled that we did! The restaurant is a delightful eatery with Italian murals on the walls (and ceilings), comfortable booths and very polite & efficient staff members. We ordered a large pizza and thoroughly enjoyed it. The crust was a pleasant departure from the typical fast food/home delivery type and the toppings were yummy. We ended up bringing half of it home because the portions were so generous. For dessert we ordered the profiteroles which were light and were the perfect end to our meal. I hope that more people will give Roma’s a try!!
Sucky. So i went to Roma’s last night for my 19th birthday dinner with my boyfriend. it was supposed to be special and amazing because we have gone on so many dates there before in past years, and the foods always been great. However, the food last night was terrible!!! I got the chicken parmeasan and my sauce was thin and runny, the chicken was chewy and hard to cut, and it just tasted bland. My boyfriend got the Chicken Marsala, and it was abosulutely horrible. No flavor in the chicken or the sauce. It literally tasted like buttered noodles and a breaded chicken patty with no spices added whatsoever. Not only was the food awful, but the service was bad too. Our waitress was really awkward and never came back to check on us and never even noticed that both mine and my boyfriends drink needed to be refilled, nor did she bother to move our salad plates and bread plates when she served us food (even though it was obvious we were done with them), she just tried to move the plates around to fit our entree plates. Those are small things but i just feel like a good waitress should know things like that (especially if they want a good tip) Overall, it was terrible, I’ve been going to Roma’s since i was a kid and it was in the smaller shopping center down the street, but i MOST DEFINITELY will not be going back any time soon. HUGE waste of money, so dont waste your time.
Great place with excellent service. The food is superb — you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Be cautious that all the dishes are fairly big, so have a big appetite when you visit!
Total sucks. You call that italian i call it garbage there is much better pizza not far and worth the drive in any direction well worth your ride
