Slow Waitress. My girlfriend and I went to Bella Monte the other night and the service was absolutely horrid. I will say that our meals were delicious, but based off of the service, we will NEVER go back. We literally sat there for 15 minutes before anyone even came to ask us what we wanted to drink. I could see our waitress looking at us from the kitchen, but she didnt make any attempt to come to our table. She certainly wasnt busy, so maybe there was a mix up as to which waitress was supposed to serve us. That being said, once things got into full swing, she never refilled our water jug and never came back to check on us. This place is in serious need of better waitresses.

Tim. We have been to Bella Monte’s 6 or 7 times this summer and each time we have enjoyed great food and service. The wine selection is good and if you buy a bottle in their store they will serve it to you for a $5.00 cork fee. I see many return visits in my future.02 Oct, 2011Tim. Average. Average. Average. The only fantastic part is the delightful market attached to the restaurant.
Food was outstanding. Service was decent, if a little aloof. Owner appears to be a bit of a head case. Witnessed an abusive and demeaning exchange between her and an employee. Made me not want to give this place our business again. Once again .- excellent food.
Disappointed. We were not impressed with our experience. We ordered the roasted beet salad, and they served it with canned beets! Also the candied walnuts were also canned. The chicken dish still had the skin. The decor was supposed to be eclectic, but the tacky Christmas decorations were too much. We heard such high reviews, but they disappointed us tremendously.
