JUST FABULOUS!!!. For New Years Eve we decided we wanted to go out for dinner and for us that typically means Sushi! We are new to the Virginia Beach area so still trying to learn new places after we spotted Blue Fin in the Hilltop shopping area I checked out the reviews and found myself so excited to go there and let me tell you my boyfriend and I LOVE Sushi so we are big time critics and from the second we walked and and met Evan we felt right at home we told him of the great reviews we read and to say we were not disappointed would be a serious understatement! This was simply THE BEST SUSHI we have ever had and topped off by getting to know Evan and learning of how he started as a Sushi Chef at the age of 14! WOW all I can say is we will never go anywhere else for Sushi and thank you Evan for Kicking off our new year in style and making it extra special can’t wait to come back for the lunch special…see you again very soon!

Best sushi Virginia Beach. I might be biased because I was a waitress there for quite some time and I know the owner, but this is the best sushi in town. The owner and sushi chef cares very much about his business and his customers and this shows in his food and service. I had sushi numerous times, in and outside of town, and I never quite took a liking to it until I had it at Blue Fin. I started as a customer, became an employee, and am still a customer. Definitely recommended.

Love It!. I am a regular at Blue Fin, and every time I have been there it has been amazing. The food is great and the service is awesome. There is something for everbody on the menu. If you don’t want something on a roll they will make it without it. It is very clean and I have never once had bad fish. I cannot say anything bad about Blue Fin. I will be going there for a very long time.
Great Sushi. I love sushi. I have eaten it in all sorts of places (used to be in the navy) It is different everywhere I go. Girlfriend and I were looking for a place to eat after rummaging Gamestop for some old PS2 games and just happened to see Blue Fin. Never hearing of it I went to go see what it was. Low and behold a sushi restaurant! After double checking with her we decided to sit for sushi. It took some time to decide but the waitress was very polite and patient with us. We ordered some wasabi appetizer (it was pretty spicy and wasabi was really packed in there) She loved it! I wasn’t very impressed but im not huge on wasabi, I only got it because I knew she loved it. I ordered Miso soup which was not my BEST miso soup but was still a fine soup, an Alaskan roll, this roll was HUGE and wasn’t expensive at all, was VERY tasty as well. She had a philly roll or something along those lines (she wasnt big on the ones with lots of raw fish) which she enjoyed with her overload of wasabi (in my opinion), to top it all off, I got Yellowfin tuna sashimi. THIS was the topper of the meal. Only 2 pieces but it just melted away as soon as it hit my mouth. I ate it with no sauce or anything just plain and it was AMAZING. All and all with tip this meal cost me UNDER $40 which is great compared to some of the other places for me. They can get expensive some of the rolls can be as high as $20 however I think our rolls were only about 6-7 each and they were filling. I am introducing a friend to this place today and will possibly write another review.
