The delivery can be lack luster. If you are absolutely starving and need food now drive yourself to taco bell. If not, wait an hour and have damn decent Chinese delivery to your door. Their steamed dumplings are the best within miles. They offer diet dishes steamed with no sauces for you people watching your waistlines. They have great soups always delivered way to hot to eat. This is my go to Chinese delivery in 23451, 23454.
Ordered the new grilled teriyaki which was actually bland boiled chicken chopped & no flavor. Onky 2 customers & for the length of time we waited..food was like a microwave bland meal. Cashier waitress took our order but failed to ask which size etc..$24 including tip down the drain
Food Never Delivered — Terrible Service. Ordered food from China Wok tonight. I live less than 5 minutes away. Was told the food would arrive in 30-40 minutes. An hour and 15 minutes later, no food. Called the restaurant multiple times over the next 45 minutes — they kept telling me the driver was on his way, then the driver delivered my food to the wrong house, then the driver disappeared with whatever food and money he had on him and would not respond to their calls. 2 hours later, my family starving, no food. Called the restaurant to ensure they wouldn’t charge my debit card, but the charge is still showing as pending on my bank account. Like someone else said, good luck being able to communicate in clear English with the manager — if the charge posts, I will dispute it with the bank and have them take care of it. I will never order from China Wok again. There are plenty of other Chinese restaurants in the Hilltop area. Stay away from China Wok!!!
Food is ok, but service isn’t!. If you are looking for so so delivery in selected areas, which they don’t tell you until 5 months later, then this place is for you! It is the typical overloaded with salt and fried tastes you get at the mall cheap over priced chinese, and if you have an issue with something, good luck being able to speak, let alone understand the manager! I would recommend you keep looking if you want GOOD chinese
Don’t try delievery. The food is really good but go get it yourself or you’ll be waiting for at least an hour.
Better than decent and a little less than amazing but it’s good enough to have you drooling next time you think about ordering. I suggest the Kung pao dishes.
