Great, consistent food and service. This is one restaurant to have on your short list of reliable, good quality, and exceptional service restaurants. There are several great dishes to choose from, including my favorite fish tacos that are always cooked right and very flavorful. The specials they have each week are a delight, and the atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. The one thing that I have always noticed about Havanas is that there is always a good crowd present on almost every night. It speaks to the food, which is always prepared to your liking. The prices are very fair for the meals you get, and the service is exceptional. Great restaurant!
Excellent!. The food here is AMAZING!! I went in thinking I was going to have just an appetizer and some drinks and left after appetizer, meal, and desert! Friendly staff, excellent, food and service. Will definitely be going back!
Excellent Food. We go there to pick up Nachos and something off the Specials Menu after work or on the weekends. We love Havanas ! They are pretty much always consistent and we find their portions to be large -so go there hungry ! Absolutely love their Fish Tacos and believe them to be the Best in VB
Very disappointed. Just returned from a terrible meal. Had a bad experience here a couple of years ago and vowed never to return, Friends live nearby so we gave it another try. Wish we had not. Very poor meal and wish I had stayed home and had a pot pie – it would have been a lot better. Will not waste my hard earned cash here again.
Love this place whether you are really hungry or just want Tapas Menu- Best Nachos ! Never disappointed with ambience or food! Don’t listen to Haters- they should stay home and eat Pot Pies
Crabcakes of the Gods!!!. I arrived in Virginia Beach in 1968. Since then I have been there for 4 years in the Navy and travelled there on innumerable occasions. The one constant I can rely on above all others lately is the quality of the food at Havana on Great Neck. I expect that I have eaten something else from the menu, but I cannot remember that far back. If you love crab cakes, this is Mecca, the top of the mountain, the absolute best! You owe it to yourself to eat at Havana… Oh, did I mention that the service and management are top notch too?
OMG! The Chix Nachos!. You’ve never had Chix Nachos like this! Have to have it at least once a week. It’s piled high with lots of chips layered with all the good stuff! The staff is always courteous and quick to please. Great place to relax after a hard day at work!
