This was my first time coming here. Would never go back. I ordered Seewee salad and I got nothing but lettuce with homemade ginger sauce. That’s what they call a Seewee salad. They have no white tuna. To whom ever reads this do not waste your time or money by going here. Go to Volcano sushi on great neck the prices are better and you get better quality.
Once was, NOT anymore!. Went in tonight no reservation, Our first time since it moved location. Upon entering, there is a very nice upscale bar which we sat at to wait for a space at the sushi bar. The barmaid had the personality of an old mop. one other person at the bar of this crowded establishment. After 20 minute room opened at the Sushi Bar the hostess led us, didn’t carry our beers for us. As we just settled a waitress immediately asked if we wanted to order. I asked if it would be ok if we opened the menus first! She then rattled off specials whatever they were couldn’t understand what the heck she said! Ok, we started with Tuna Tartare, it was fine and another app but it had tasteless octopus. My wife ordered 2 rolls and some Nigiri not all of it ever came to her. I had Chirashi, $29 Bucks worth of tasteless, No wrong the Tuna had a mild Fish taste! Actually I could not tell the difference between the Tuna and Salmon! No the Tuna was Fishy! The Quality of the fish is poor! Again, once this was the best in town but NOW YUK!!!
By far the best sushi on the Eastern Seaboard. No one can touch Chef Waturo and his creative dishes. Check out the ice-top saki bar and enjoy the freshest sushi around!
I love this restaurant. The food is amazing and the ambience is very cool and chic. Everyone should check it out
The freshest, choicest sushi in Virginia. The title says it all.I could say more, but it would just be a distraction.
I lived in Okinawa for three years; I must say this is the best sushi I’ve had in the US.
Best Sushi in town. Very consistent throughout the years. The place could use a facelift, don’t care much for the 90’s style decor and furniture, but the food is great and the servers have worked there for a very long time, so the service is friendly and efficient
