  Hello? Anybody there?. I’ve been to Sirena before and loved the food and owner seemed very nice. My only HUGE complaint is that no one EVER picks up the phone. It would be nice to know that they are open, place a to go order, or make a reservation. A recording just doesn’t cut it.

  Dinner for four wed. night dec. 10th. Four of us returned here for our third dinner experience. all was great once more.two of us ate repeater dinners – the sole and chicken w/spinach.chris tried a pasta dish with olives, chip peas, mushrooms – etc – i forget – pretty nice dish.i tried one of the many specials they had and man did they ever have some – i settled for the Cod – great.and a nice bottle of $29.00 Chiantione dessert: Panna Cotta – wowsee you soon.27 Nov, 2014Went back last Thursday night to test the waters once more.. We all had to have the same thing – the salmon with the peas………..omg….and a bottle of Chianti.31 Oct, 2014Wednesday Night Dinner. 75% of our friday night group wanted to give this new spot a spin, we have heard really good comments.lets say it kinda reminds me of Ciola’s. it is small, but i emailed them and got a table for our group. we will return as soon as possible for more fine Italian food – i added pics of many of the items we had.glad they opened this little spot up. – see you soon.

  Refreshingly Good Italian Food and Service. I had lunch at Sirena this past week and had a wonderful experience. The place wasn’t the easiest fo find as the signage is very descreet but I am glad I was persistant and found it. The menu is not overwelming but offers a variety that fullfills most of my Italian/American cravings. The restaurant is very styish and comfortable. I like this location much better than the previous Norfolk location. I received a warm welcome at the door and a beverage order was taken immediately, a service that is often overlooked these days.. I ordered the penne puttanesca with the house salad which was included. During my visit, a rosemary foccacia was offered with a garlic infused olive oil and a splash of balsamic. I don’t normally find dipping oils to be very tasty but I could not stop eating this. The salad was a perfect lunch size and was lightly dressed with a vinaigrette. The salad was very fresh and tasty but could have used a little more acidity. The penne was perfectly cooked but a little over sauced. The flavor was spot on. There was a perfect blend of brininess from the capers and olives and saltiness from the anchovy and a very nice spice. I ordered the house pinot grigio though I don’t remember the label it was very good. The server informed me that they are booked most every night of the week so definitely make a reservation if you plan to go and if you go, you very well might see me there 🙂
