Trapped gastropup in virginia beach in hilltop. My husband and I had lunch here today, the food was not that good, I had the Mahi Mahi blackened it taste bitter and it was dry. My husband had the fried flounder no seasoned also we had the calimari the oil it was fried in tasted old.
Recently, I booked my son’s Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at Tapped Gastropub. We were looking for a casual venue, with a fun vibe. The enclosed patio was perfect! We served buffet style, including a wide variety of delicious choices. We served Caprese Salad for starters, then moved on to a choice of Seafood Pasta, Garlic Encrusted Chicken, Steak and Veggie Skewers, and Crab Cakes. Our sides were Asparagus Spears, Broccoli, and Baby Red Potatoes. Everything was a hit! We served Beer and Wine, (Tapped has such extensive lists of both). I provided my son’s favorite Mousse Cake, and Tapped added their Strawberry Shortcake. The servers were extremely attentive and engaging. It was an easy, breezy evening. Call Jeannine, to book your special event at Tapped Gastropub. She will create an event to remember!
Tried out tapped for our 2nd anniversary and it was AMAZING. Good beer selection, Great service, and Fantastic food. Already making plans to introduce it to other friends. Ask for Justin he’s the man!!
This place was fabulous! In the Hilltop shopping Plaza but worth the trip! You have to try the Shrimp crostini and the Ahi tuna. 4 thumbs up!!! Brandon was very helpful and had great suggestions. We will be back!
Great experience. Ate with a party of 11 and we all agreed it was a good choice. The menu is a good size without being overwhelming. Various dishes chosen were seafood and fish, as well as a vege burger and a regular burger and all were good, with nice presentation. The server was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. Additionally there was live music, which was excellent and not too loud….great night!
Mediocre beer choices for a place called tapped. Food was good, but the service was quite possibly the sllooowwwest ever. Nice environment but not the service the $$$ asks for.
My family and myself just ate here. We had an awesome time, great food and a very attentive waiter. He was extremely knowledgable on the beer and food. All foodies should check this establishment out.
