Minnie Mouse 2nd B-day. I was very pleased with the cake, even at last moment I changed my theme they still accommodated us the best they could. We chose butter creme for a lesser cost , they tried there best to make all the pieces on the cake look as best as the could with that time of icing. Next time we will go with fondant but, all and all it tasted delicious. For the price we paid the cake was huge and enough for everyone to take a huge slice home. This was our 1st bakery we every chose in Virginia and I am glad I picked them. My guest were pleased and the pictures came out beautiful. Will be posting them on the websites page on facebook so everyone can see how great it looked. Thanks to Pat for all the emailing and patience with this Bostonian gal. You all Rock, until next time.

I purchased a cake for my sons birthday from there and was more than displeased. The cake looked nothing like the picture I had sent them. When I went in to pick it up the employees were very rude to me and the store was also dirty. I’m never going back and will not recommend this to my friends.
I went to the bakery at the old lynnhaven location and was extremely displeased. The people who work there are rude and the family atmosphere I had assumed they had was not existent. There were crumbs all over the floor in the back of the store and the store seemed as if it had not been cleaned in a very long time. When I received my food, it was extremely sugary to the point where my stomach felt awful all day. Never going there again and will be telling my friends and family not to as well.
This cake for my daughters birthday party was nothing that I visioned. I ordered a pink and brown zebra stripe cake .i dont know if someone was drunk when they made it… speechless.. It was dry the icing was suppose to be butter cream which tasted whipped and somewhat bitter… I called the store back and spoke to this owner and she stated that you get what you paid for . Seriously I could have taken my business to the grocery store and paid my hard earned $50 and get a decent cake, as a consumer you go to a professional to assist in what your are lookin for and give you an honest opinion … I will never go back . one less customer for good
I hosted a retirement party today and ordered a cake from Bliss Bakery. I sent them a picture of the cake I wanted, which was a 2 tiered cake with an American flag draped over it with our command seal attached. The flag had to be fondant, which was difficult to find since a lot of bakeries refuse to do fondant. Let me tell you, Bliss did a phenomenal job and the cake tasted great. I definitely recommend them for cakes, especially to this complexity. It was affordable too. Check them out. You won’t be disappointed!!
