We don’t go to Carrabba’s that often, but when we do it is usually a great dining experience. However, tonight we were highly disappointed. Hoping to dine out for our anniversary, sans kids (which is nearly an impossible occurrence for us) but instead were completely neglected. We counted about 5 servers pass our table only to be passed. It was not busy, as I did observe empty tables around us. We waited for 15 minutes before deciding that this was entirely too long to even be acknowledged. We ended up down the street at Olive Garden. We left full and satisfied.. where the service was exceptional!
If you live in VA or even visit don’t, I repeat don’t got to the Caraba’s on Lynhaven in the beach, I dropped my money in the booth when I payed the check and when i went back whoever bussed my table F’n robbed me…the F’n food sucked and I still tipped because of my awesome server Jasmine and the F’n manager says there’s nothing she can do for me cuz this normally doesn’t happen wtf did that have to do with her solving my problem I don’t know but it was a piss poor excuse considering at first she didn’t even want to ask her people if they saw it. So big ups to Jenn the manager and the F’n busboy/girl on their come up you needed it more than me F*cker!!!
This was my first time eating at carrabba’s i notice it was resturant week and they were on the list so i got my friend to take me to dinner. We were so impressed with the food & waitress. Everthing was cooked as its order we order the lobster ravoil ,pasta weesie & the minstrone soup (yumm-o) our waitress shannon (a.k.a red) was so awesome she made sure our drinks were full & our meals were perfect. I think i will be picking this place over Olive Garden.
JUST PLAIN GREAT ITALIAN. Our family loves Carrabas!!! From the quality and flavor of the food, you’d never know you were eating at a chain unless you were told. The family fave is Chicken Bryan, oh my goodness!! Grilled Chicken w/ sundried tomatoes, fresh basil and lemon butter. UNBELIEVEABLE. The grill flavor on their chicken is sooooooo good – I wish in this lifetime that I could duplicate it, but probably won’t happen. I also love all their salads – ingredients are always fresh and dressing never taste fake. The Chicken Trio is also amazing, and good value to try 3 entrees: Chicken Marsala, Rosa Maria & Chicken Bryan. Wow. They’ve also allowed me to customize a dish that is not on the menu – how’s that for customer service?? Some gluten free options are helpful for the members of my family that need it. In short (or long) : ), love the bread, salad, entress and desserts. Only thing that doesnt tickle my fancy is their coffee, it’s just not noteworthy. But the BEST thing about Lynnhaven Carabbas is our favorite waiter Daniel – he is amazing, he always delivers exemplary service without fail – and keeps us coming back. We even drive further to go to Lynnhaven vs. Greenbrier, cause the food AND moreover the service, are worth it.
Lingering Sauce. I came here with my boyfriend just the other night, pretty excited about seafood. I wasn’t expecting much, but it was pretty nice. The bread they bring you is a bit stale and the sauce and stuff they want you to sop up is too oily for my tastes. Excellent service, they give you exactly what you want. I was hesitant about ordering a Minestrone soup because I don’t like beans, but the broth was worth it. My seafood cannelloni had a very creamy tomato sauce and it was a great size for dinner. I ate it all up! Full of seafood. All in all, I was quite impressed.
The best homemade Italian food. Everything is fresh. The waiter was attentive and the service was fast. No more Olive Garden for me!
Best Gluten Free night out!. I love this restaurant! One place I can realy relax when I eat out! The appetizer of fresh baked, rich nutty flavored, hot gluten free rolls with a dipping mix of olive oil and spices. What a wonderful start to the meal! I get a Gluten free pizza with great toppings: pepperoni, fresh basil, kalamata olives, green peppers, roma tomatoes, sun dried tomatoes, mozzarela, fontina, romano and asigo cheeses! Mmmmm! And I get to wash it all down with a delicious ice cold glass of Redbridge gluten free beer! Being gluten free is a pleasure at this restaurant!
