Excellent Chicken. I had the rotisserie chicken (quarter size) with the choice of fries (yucca or potato) and a small salad. The chicken was delicious (though the quarter piece, a thigh and leg, were rather small for $7.50). I enjoyed the small sauces (green hot) and a mayo sauce (which was really good). Only complaint, I thought that $7.50 was a bit steep for the amount of chicken I received. They should either drop their prices, or give you more chicken. As others have noted, the place is very clean with excellent service, however, it’s a bit sparse in there and I can’t imagine the overhead is very high (so their prices should be better). Oh, for some reason, their soda beverages were served warm over ice. Maybe there is a refrigeration problem there, not sure.
Eh… Definitely not the way mom use to make it!! I went in there looking for some comfort food, since I am half Peruvian, and didn’t feel like cooking. The place was empty which should of been my sign to turn around and walk out! It was completely over priced and the food was under seasoned. I know I will never go there again and I will just have to make my own Peruvian food from now on!
Great lunch–nice to find something good, different, and off (my) beaten path!. Food was OMG delicious–fish stew, ceviche trio, etc. Even the ice tea was spectacular (ok, if you like cardamom. A lot). Some folks have pointed out that it’s a quiet place–so it is, and too bad you couldn’t/wouldn’t try and bridge the language barrier to try some authentic, delicious food. I’d be happy to go back, even if it remained quiet and not quite as easy as Wendy’s drive-through to get your order tended to. (Smirk). I look forward to trying Sunday breakfast, and maybe finding out if there’s a time when folks from Peru (etc) fill the restaurant with home-ambience. In the meantime, more ceviche for me!
NO………. A first to eat peruvian food. Pretty silent in there. The food was ok, just the service is LOUSY. Wife and I never had our glasses refilled. When we were ready to leave, I had to get up and go to the counter and ask for my check. Never once did the server check up on us to see if we needed anything.
Unique. I had never eaten Peruvian before. I asked the waitress for a recommendation and everything I had was excellent. This is a hidden gem, definitely check it out and don’t be afraid to try something new! The portions are VERY generous, it is always enough for two meals for me. Or I take a friend and we enjoy appetizers and share an entree.
Hands down the best Peruvian restaurant I have ever been to. Food was great. Staff was great. Atmosphere was great. Total domination.
